Lived experience reflections relating to Healthcare Services

"Unfortunately, I’m not surprised at the lasting stigma from the healthcare profession itself toward people with complex mental health conditions. Whilst receiving medical stabilisation due to physical ramifications of anorexia as a teenager, a nurse once told me she didn’t have time to help me with a panic attack as there were children who were “actually sick” she needed to assist, implying I wasn’t one of them."
